Total time between when an order is placed and goods are received = Time it takes to receive payment + Time it takes to process an order + Time it takes to ship all items + Time it takes for all packages to be delivered by the shipping company.
- Billing information inconsistent with what's on the credit card record, requiring phone verification. To protect the credit card holder, accounts will not be charged and orders will not be processed if the credit card security code is missing or incorrect.
- Billing address/name different from shipping address/name, requiring phone verification. Again, we must verify the credit card information before shipping to protect credit card holders.
- High-value and consumer items are ordered without an answered, working phone number for phone verification. Chances for credit card fraud are much higher for these items. You must have a working phone number with your order.
- Wrong address or zip code used in the order. Shipping companies can't deliver and may send the packages back to us.
- Customs delays: Items may be held in Customs for reasons out of the shipper's or shipping company's control. Commonly, devices with a monitor, DVDs, CDs or scanners (or any device that may affect radio frequencies) may be subject to scrutiny, and will delay delivery time.
- No one at the receiving address to accept the package. The shipping company may send the package back to us.
- Delays by shipping companies. Shipments could be temporarily lost by shipping companies for shipping addresses that are outside North America, especially for UPS Ground. Occasionally but rarely it may take 10 or more business days for the package to arrive. Please note that UPS does not guarantee air shipment to residential addresses.
- Delays during holiday seasons between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Shipping companies often do not guarantee any shipment 2 weeks before Christmas. Make your gift arrangements early.
- Shortage of ordered item(s). We try to contact customers in case of shortage that delays orders for more than one business days. We may split an order and ship items separately. Back-ordered items are marked as such on your packing slip.
- Drop/Blind shipped items such as printers, notebook batteries, and special memory modules typically require more time to process the order. These items are designated as such on their item description. They are normally shipped in 2-3 business days.
- Purchase Orders may be delayed for us to verify account information. This is especially true for first time customers.
- International Orders (including the US) are shipped until 11 AM. Orders shipped after 11 AM will be sent out on the next day's delivery schedule.
- System orders are normally shipped in 7 business days. Please allow adequate time for us to assemble, configure and test systems before shipping.
